PRICING/PAYMENTS

A deposit and signed contract are required before Helen Ziga will begin work. The deposit amount will be applied against the total bill. Speculative projects are not accepted. Projects where royalty fees are involved will be considered but a non-refundable deposit will always be part of that type of contract.

Clients who reject work and cancel any job will be charged time spent at a rate of $60.00 per hour. If the time spent amounts to less than the deposit, the client will be refunded the balance.

PAYMENT: Checks and PayPal payments (VISA/MasterCard) are accepted.

Print Design

  • Catalogs, brochures, newsletter, editorial design, postcards, flyers, invitations, posters, stationery: $60.00 per hour. A contract will be forwarded to the client after discussion of the project and will include an estimate on hours.
  • Logo Design: $500.00 per logo (flat rate)**. This fee includes copyright transfer to the client and will be written into their contract.
  • Signage/Tradeshow Display: $60.00 per hour. A contract will be forwarded to the client after discussion of the project and will include an estimate on hours.
  • Press Checks: $360.00 per 1-day press checks within the Atlanta area. If travel outside of Atlanta is required, I charge a rate of $500.00 per day and plus travel expenses.

*Pricing does not include the purchase of images, hiring a photographer, printing or any other purchasing or production costs. Recommendations on printers can be made. The client may ask for me to get bids for their projects and I can do so at my regular hourly rate of $60.00 per hour.

Website Design/E-Commerce

  • Website Design: $60.00 per hour*. A contract will be forwarded to the client after discussion of the project and will include an estimate on hours.
  • E-Commerce Sites: $60.00 per hour*. A contract will be forwarded to the client after discussion of the project and will include an estimate on hours.

Monthly maintenance contracts are available and are written per 6 months. The fee is dependent on the needs of the client and will be billed monthly. Search Engine Optimization can be built into a monthly maintenance package.

*Clients are responsible for purchasing their own domain name, hosting service and, if applicable, all materials needed to create an online store, including the shopping cart software and an online security certificate. This is one of the means I use to keep my pricing low for you. PDGSoftware is the shopping cart software I typically recommend. It is easy to use and has a low one-time fee. I can also set up websites to use PayPal.

NOTE: Flash websites cannot function as e-commerce stores. However, if you have an e-commerce website and want to incorporate a Flash animation, this is doable. My rates for Flash work is $70.00 per hour.

Flash: Websites/Animations/Banner Advertisements

  • Online Banner Advertisements: $300.00 (flat rate). This includes all copyright transfer. Meaning, you can do what you want with the banner without accruing any usage fees after the project is completed.
  • Flash Websites: $60.00 per hour. A contract will be forwarded to the client after discussion of the project and will include an estimate on hours.

NOTE: Websites developed in Flash cannot function as e-commerce store. If you would like an online store, please see "Website Design/E-Commerce" above.

Search Engine Optimization/Competitor Research

  • Search Engine Optimization Package: $750.00 (flat rate for pre-existing websites that sell less than 50 products)*. This includes data collection and analysis on your online competition provided as an Excel spreadsheet. It also includes the setup of PPC (pay-per-click) campaigns on both Google and Yahoo. This also includes a review of metatags that are part of your current site, if any. Metatags will be added or updated to benefit the organic search (non-paid) on Google and Yahoo. Monthly maintenance contracts are available and are written per 6 months. The fee is dependent on the needs of the client and will be billed monthly.
  • Competitor Research: $350.00 (flat rate). This includes data collection and analysis on your online competition provided as an Excel spreadsheet. Analysis will include, but is not exclusive to, comparison on product design or services offered, pricing, target market, availability, shipping fees, locations, search marketing and website design.

*Clients that have websites that are over 50 pages or sell more than 50 products or services will be emailed a proposed estimate within 2-3 business days.

Premiums

Copywriting
Copywriting fees are $60.00 per hour (by the quarter hour) with a minimum of 2 hours per project. Copywriting includes writing product or service copy and/or proofreading client-provided copy for grammar and content.

** Clients who reject all provided copy and cancel the job will be charged time spent at a rate of $60.00 per hour by the quarter hour.

Photography/Image Work

  • Product Photography: $75.00 per product photograph selected. This fee includes the photograph with clipping path provided to the client as both .psd and .jpg files. A minimum of 5 products per project is required for new clients.* The client will own the copyright to all selected photographs after payment is made in full.**
  • Image Work: Client provides images that need work done. Includes but not exclusive to clipping paths, color correcting, image alterations, preparation of photographs for various media (print, web) at $60.00 per hour (by the quarter hour) with a minimum of 2 hours per project.
  • Art Direction: For clients who are in the Atlanta area and need someone to do art direction for a photo shoot, I am available for a fee of $60.00 per hour. This includes time spent discussing and planning the project, travel time and the time the photo shoot takes. The client is responsible for purchasing their own materials for any photo shoot. Photo shoot that are not within 2 hours drive of Atlanta will not be accepted.

* Clients who reject all provided images and cancel the job will be charged time spent at a rate of $60.00 per hour by the quarter hour.

** Photographs that are not selected are owned by Helen Ziga and may be purchased with full copyright transfer within 2 years of the photo shoot. Photographs not selected will be archived for 2 years. If the client does purchase all photographs within 30 days of the completion of the photo shoot, the $75.00 purchase price per selected image is not guaranteed.
